Abu Kamara could replace Rabbi Matondo at RangersRangers should have no issue agreeing personal terms with Abu Kamara but have not tabled a bid for him yet, according to Football Scotland.
The outlet reported on their website on 26 August that the club still have to shift players out before they can put forward a fee for the attacker, who has put in a transfer request at Norwich City. The Canaries “refused” to use him against Sheffield United at the weekend but the Light Blues first need to offload the likes of Rabbi Matondo, Ianis Hagi and former Carrow Road man Todd Cantwell.
Kamara, 21, has only seen Championship action in two late substitute appearances this season, before being left out altogether against the Blades.

That is the sort of output the Light Blues would be interested in if he were able to translate that form to the Scottish Premiership.Philipe Clement predicted he would stay after the 6-0 victory at the weekendBut with wide-man interest in Egyptian Olympic star Ibrahim Adel as well [Mohamed El Gazar, 25 August] that claim may have been an attempt to build up Matondo’s transfer value.
The club needs answers on a host of exit-linked aces within a matter of days, with Hagi also having rejected a Rapid Bucharest move [Sky Sports, 26 August], but if they manage to find some then a late Kamara move could be on the cards.
