Leeds star refuses to sign a new deal and is determined to leave the club due to
Leeds United have tabled a £13m bid for a Championship midfielder ahead of Friday’s deadline but the offer has been rejected and described as a “million miles away”.
Daniel Farke is desperate for new signings between now and the end of the transfer window, and one of them is £10m winger Largie Ramazani who arrives at Leeds as a replacement for Crysencio Summerville.
Manor Solomon is still expected to join on loan from Tottenham though a deal is taking longer than expected, even if the Israel star did a medical at Leeds over the weekend ahead of a possible loan spell.
Farke has made it clear he would like to replace both Summerville and Georginio Rutter and in Ramazani and Solomon, he will feel Leeds have done that. Attention then turns to a midfielder and a full-back.
Leeds have bid rejected for two-goal Championship star
Leeds have already done business with Sheffield United this summer. Firstly, Jamie Shackleton left Leeds on a free and swapped Elland Road for Bramall Lane on a free transfer in his search for more game time.
Then, Jayden Bogle joined Leeds from the Blades for a fee of £5m. The right-back solved a lack of options on the right and now, Leeds have bid £13m for Sheffield United player Gus Hamer, according to The Star.
However, it has been rejected with Chris Wilder saying two bids had been received with Leeds’ offer now seen as the one that is “a million miles away”. Hamer has already scored two goals in the Championship.
