Neil Harris admits what Nottingham Forest did better than his Millwall team during pre-season friendly

‘We are Millwall, Super Millwall, nobody likes us we don’t care’, sang the Millwall fans but replace super for dirty and there is an accurate representation of their style of play against Nottingham Forest.

The Reds gave Millwall a lesson in passing the football last night as the Lions tried everything they possibly could to kick Forest into oblivion.

Thankfully, Forest picked up a 2-1 win but the antics of the opposition meant that the Reds now face an anxious wait to discover the extent of an injury picked up by Elliot Anderson.

Typically, Neil Harris, the former Forest player and current Millwall manager didn’t see anything wrong with the approach of his players – and actually praised the Reds.

What Neil Harris thought Forest did better than Millwall

Whisper it quietly but things do appear to be looking a lot better this season from a Forest perspective at this stage of the pre-season campaign.

The Reds had some drab results in pre-season contests ahead of last season, with Steve Cooper playing some truly bizarre team selections.

This year feels different though and there were glimpses of Forest being better in possession of the football last night – even if they were only facing Championship opposition.
