GOOD NEWS:I am excited to welcome you back to…

AC Milan defender Fode Ballo-Toure is expected to pass his Leeds United medical if they are to sign him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the 27-year-old left-back’s lack of game time last season puts him at a higher risk of suffering setbacks should he move to England, but is not something that would cause issues with his medical.

This comes after Foot Mercato reported on 17 July that the Whites are keen on signing the Senegal international.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Ballo-Toure:

“I highly, highly doubt that a lack of game time would lead to failing a medical unless there’s something just a complete outlier issue so he’s likely to pass it.

“However, the lack of game time may still be a problem as it could add to injury risk.

“Leeds will need to be methodical with his minutes as he’s integrated into the squad and the league and that likely means him not starting in the first couple of games.“

Fode Ballo-Toure will be a decent signing for Leeds United

Leeds should sign Ballo-Toure to inject competition for Junior Firpo at left-back, enhancing squad depth and quality.

The 27-year-old, with his experience in top leagues and at AC Milan, brings a pedigree that could push Firpo to elevate his game or provide a high-quality alternative.

Moreover, his ability to also play further up the pitch as a wing-back, adds tactical flexibility for the Whites.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have been offered another Premier League player and sources claim that a Championship loan move is very likely.
