GOOD NEWS:Leeds United have finally signed their dream player few minutes ago
Largie Ramazani and Leeds United are in “advanced” negotiations as they move closer to agreeing a deal for the Almeria winger, according to La Voz de Almeria.
The Spanish outlet reported on 21 August that Ramazani is set to miss Thursday’s (22 August) training session with the Spanish side as he closes in on a move to Elland Road, with the winger’s “bags packed”.
Negotiations between the two clubs are well advanced despite “famous details” still being missing before an agreement is reached, though Ramazani may still say goodbye to his team-mates on Thursday.
Ramazani will travel to the UK to undergo a medical once a deal is closed between the Whites and Almeria, with the transfer fee for the Belgian forward set to be just short of £10million [Fabrizio Romano, 21 August].
Leeds United must force through Largie Ramazani transfer
Whichever i’s need dotting and t’s need crossing on the deal with Almeria for Ramazani, United simply do not have time to waste as the transfer deadline on 30 August looms large at Elland Road.
The losses of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter in particular have left Daniel Farke woefully short of game-breaking attacking options, and those holes need filling as quickly as possible.
With over a month passing since the Whites made their latest new addition in the form of Jayden Bogle, time is of the essence with just eight days of the window left – thus signing Ramazani is paramount.
The likes of Roland Sallai and Manuel Benson have both been linked in the wake of the Peacocks making a breakthrough with Ramazani [Sky Sports, 21 August], and the club must accelerate their pursuits if they want to sign all three.
Replicating the sheer output provided by Summerville and Rutter last season will certainly be a tough task, but with Ramazani soon through the doors, Farke will hope at least two more can soon follow.
