Breaking News:Celtic return scenario that could save Parkhead board from trouble in Paradise

Paradise is for us – it’s hell for everyone else. The teaser for Celtic’s in-house behind the scenes documentary has got Hoops fans fevered.

No wonder they call their manager Box Office. If the 30 second taster from Brendan Rodgers’ team talk is anything to go by, Celtic could roll out their show at Showcase Cinemas in the coming weeks and punters will be queuing up like sci-fi nerds at the latest Star Wars movie. Let’s be honest, club media stuff is usually about as interesting as Theresa May reading the phone book. But this one looks worth tuning in to. It’s just a shame the cameras are not rolling for another few weeks.

It’ll be the tale of last term, when Rodgers went from Shawshank to redemption and no doubt it will be intriguing, even if it is white washed by Parkhead censors, like just about every one of these fly on the wall jobs. The real story is about to unfold though, as Celtic head into the final week of the transfer window with a weaker squad than the one that finished last term.

That’s a season where Rodgers constantly called for more quality, by the way, even before Matt O’Riley dug the suitcase down from the loft. And that’s before fans even think the unthinkable when it comes to the prospect of losing Kyogo Furuhashi.

The Japan star being linked with Man City might sound fanciful but there have been some moves afoot behind the scenes with the striker and a big money bid isn’t completely in the realms of fantasy. That might send Hoops punters over the edge – at a time when they are just getting heads around the more immediate concern of saying cheerio to O’Riley.

Celtic are set to lose one of their main characters and if decent business isn’t done by the close of the window, there will be a different kind of scene in the boardroom. There could be trouble in Paradise and hell to pay for Parkhead chiefs.
