GOOD NEWS;Leeds United has signed their forever dream player finally-Manuel Benson

Leeds United will be looking to sign a few players towards the closing stages of the summer transfer window.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, the Whites have a “huge interest” in the Burnley winger, who is looking to leave Turf Moor.

The reliable journalist says that talks of a permanent move are currently taking place, and it looks like the Whites are leading the race.

Leeds technical director Gretar Steinsson should be aiming to land at least two wingers following the departures of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.

The Whites could face strong competition from Championship rivals Sunderland and Norwich City, and meeting personal terms won’t be a big problem.

Tavoliei wrote on X: “Manuel Benson about to leave Burnley FC this summer!

“Talks on a permanent move are currently taking place with huge interest of Leeds United. Sunderland FC & Norwich City (if Jonathan Rowe leaves the club…) also on it.

“Personal terms won’t be a problem. Wait and see.”

Benson played most of his club career in Belgium. He has played for clubs like Lierse, Genk, and Antwerp before he joined Burnley in the summer of 2022.

He has managed only 13 goals for the Clarets in two seasons and, overall, has scored 37 goals in his career.

Benson has previously excelled in the Championship with Burnley and there is no reason why he can’t replicate the same with Leeds.

Despite losing a few good players – Glen Kamara, Archie Gray, Rutter and Summerville – they do have a strong squad that can go all the way to secure promotion this season.

Daniel Farke still has players like Willy Gnonto, Dan James, Joel Piroe, Mateo Joseph, Brenden Aaronson, and Patrick Bamford as other options.

If Leeds can add two experienced wingers to their ranks, they will get even better. Benson played a big role for Burnley in the 2022-23 season, helping the club win promotion, and Leeds must do everything to get him on board.
