GOOD NEWS:Brendan Rodgers Confirm the return of former key player few minutes ago..

Some clubs look in a state of perpetual panic in the transfer market, and then some others seem to somewhat float calmly through it.

Atalanta are among the latter group and it’s seeing their pursuit of Celtic’s Matt O’Riley drag out. The Serie A club tend to be very good at recruitment and have decided O’Riley is the man for them, but they’re not collapsing to Celtic’s demands just yet.

It’s not very useful for La Dea that O’Riley scored twice in a friendly against DC United, but they’re still approaching things with calm reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

Again, it’s stated Celtic want €24m plus €3m in bonus payments, with Atalanta’s most recent offer, which came last week, being €18m plus €3m.

Gazzetta say there’s the feeling a ‘positive conclusion to the negotiation’ is on the way, eventually, but they again make it clear there’s no rush.

Meanwhile, Juventus are continuing to struggle to get Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta. Last week, Juve tried to panic their Serie A colleagues by letting the media know they were launching a move for O’Riley instead, but even that didn’t work.
