Breaking News:BBC Sportsound pundit rages after what Rabbi Matondo did in Rangers v St Johnstone
Richard Foster has called out Rabbi Matondo for constantly cutting back in Rangers’ 2-0 win against St Johnstone on Saturday 17 August.
The Welshman started in the Scottish League Cup tie and was a thorn in the side of the Saints, without any end product consistently down the wing.
Foster admitted he hates attackers that cut back, begging him to fire the ball across more for the likes of Danilo or even Cyriel Dessers to get on the end of things.
Speaking live on BBC Sportsound [17 August, 18:05], Foster did not hold back as he watched along at Hampden Park.
“You see what I hate?” he said.
“I hate cutbacks, I hate them, I hate seeing them. Please just fire the ball across the goal.”
Rabbi Matondo to leave Rangers?
The injury situation is so bad at Ibrox and Hampden that Philippe Clement is being forced to use players who are no more than surplus to requirements.
Matondo is expecting to leave the club before the August deadline, with Leeds among the clubs interested [Football Scotland] but yet was at the heart of most things against the Saints.
With two weeks to go in the window, this entire squad could look very different but these types of players will need to move on first after more Champions League failures.

Rabbi Matondo has been linked with an exit at Rangers
Interestingly, it was said that Matondo is still living on that memorable strike against Celtic last season, with the repeat cutting inside and shooting, despite failing to repeat it yet.
That may be the final game that the Welshman ever plays for the Gers with the days ticking away in the window and player sales needed, and it summed up his time with the club perfectly.
Wingers need to produce goals and assists consistently at the top level, and unfortunately, Matondo did neither.
In other Rangers news, the club appear to spark a bidding war to sell a first-team player for more money before the transfer deadline.
