Breaking News:Rangers transfer update: Ibrox trio close in on exits as Clement confirms waiting game
Rangers have already identified those players they hope to bring to Ibrox before the end of the transfer window.
But with the club’s active pursuits set to go down to the wire this summer, Rangers’ focus has shifted towards getting money in for those players currently clogging up the squad.
The Rangers recruitment board has had a clear mandate this summer to restructure the club’s squad whilst keeping it competitive at domestic and European level.
So far there is cause for optimism but there remains some major work to be done as Rangers look towards the transfer horizon and a greater degree of squad stability.
There are a number of factors which impact Rangers’ incoming ambitions with the sale of three players in particular set to give the club a higher degree of transfer wiggle room.

Rangers set to sell Ibrox trio
Heading the list of those squad players set to leave Rangers is Ecuadorean midfielder Jose Cifuentes.
Cifuentes signed for Rangers from LAFC last summer but struggled to adapt to life in Scotland and was farmed out on loan to Brazil and Cruzeiro in January.
With that loan stint failing to reap any major rewards, Cifuentes is now closing in on a move to Greece and Aris Thessaloniki.
It is being widely reported in Greece that Rangers have struck a mandatory €5m (£4.2m) loan-to-buy deal that will see the club bank a substantial profit on the 25-year-old next summer.
Rangers are also hoping to offload wantaway midfielder Todd Cantwell.
The 26-year-old has no future at Ibrox with Turkish side Trabzonspor jetting out to meet the ex-Norwich City star last week.
