BREAKING NEWS: Sunderland AFC Open to Enzo Le Fee Jobe Bellingham Exit ….Contract as
Championship watchers are in awe of Sunderland’s move for Enzo Le Fee. It’s a move that’s really stated their intentions in the race for promotion, and needless to say, it’s a move that’s really exciting Black Cats fans too.
It was reported on Wednesday night that Le Fee to Sunderland is a done deal, with Fabrizio Romano giving the move his signature ‘here we go’ confirmation soon after. When the deal will be completed though remains to be seen.
Le Fee joins a Sunderland side already brimming with midfield talent, so where he’ll fit in remains a bit of a mystery. Regis Le Bris already has Dan Neil, Jobe Bellingham, and Chris Rigg to manage, so Le Fee arriving will give him a welcome selection headache for sure.
Michael Graham on Jobe Bellingham’s Sunderland future amid Enzo Le Fee pursuit
Of all the Sunderland players right now, Jobe Bellingham is the one who may seem most likely to leave the Stadium of Light in January. Arsenal and Crystal Palace are interested in Bellingham who’s reported to have an agreement in place with the Sunderland owners that he can leave for a Premier League club, at the right price.
Inevitably, the imminent arrival of Le Fee casts doubt over Bellingham’s future. Fans will assume that Le Fee arriving signals towards Sunderland perhaps expecting Bellingham to leave during the January transfer window.
But journalist Michael Graham doesn’t think Bellingham’s exit is nailed on despite Le Fee arriving. He posted on X when asked about Bellingham’s future: “Can never predict anything with Sunderland, as apparently signing Enzo Le Fee proves, but worth noting that Regis Le Bris said #SAFC felt they were a central midfielder short at the start of January.”
