Breaking News:Ridvan Yilmaz hesitates as Premier League star wades into Galatasaray transfer

Galatasaray are never too far away from links to Rangers left-back Ridvan Yilmaz.
The Turkish international might have left his home country two years ago when he signed a reported £5m deal to move to Ibrox.
But that hasn’t stopped reports in Turkey routinely linking the 23-year-old Rangers star with a move back to the Super Lig.
Galatasaray even tested Rangers’ resolve with a series of bids for Ridvan Yilmaz in the January transfer window.
Now, with the Turks once again linked to the Rangers left-back, Galatasaray have been caught up in a Premier League transfer storm as their attentions seemingly shift elsewhere.

Galatasaray trying to convince Ridvan
Galatasaray are known to be on the hunt for a new left-back this summer and have once again been linked to Ridvan Yilmaz.
According to Turkish publication Fotomac, Gala are trying to convince the left-back on a return to Turkey with Ridvan uneasy due to the potential reaction from Besiktas supporters.
Translated, the Tweet from August 6th reads: “Ridvan Yilmaz, who grew up in Beşiktaş’s youth academy, is hesitant to accept Galatasaray’s offer due to the reactions of the black and white fans.
“Galatasaray management is trying to convince the player.”
Ridvan Yilmaz has been at the centre of Philippe Clement’s plans in pre-season and has started both of the Ibrox side game’s this season.
The diminutive left-back played the full 90 minutes in the Scottish Premiership opener with Hearts and in the 1-1 Champions League QR3 draw with Dynamo Kiev.
Premier League left-back storm on X
Whilst Galatasaray have been linked to Rangers star Ridvan, they appear to have turned their attentions to another target.
Reputable Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu tweeted that Galatasaray had ‘reached an agreement’ to bring French left-back Lucas Digne to the club from Aston Villa.
But Lucas Digne would spark a storm by claiming that the tweet was untrue.
Yagiz Sabuncuoglu would then controversially respond with a picture of Galatasaray’s official loan offer to Aston Villa for Lucas Digne’s services next season.
