Breaking news;Rangers best player send a devastating message..

Rangers recruitment strategy has ground to a halt in recent weeks with Philippe Clement having to make do with what he’s got.

He needs to sell players to make room for new ones but the manager doesn’t have it easy in terms of choosing who can and who can’t be sold.

One name that keeps emerging is Iangi Hagi who, according to Spot Media of Romania, has made a decision on how he wants his future at Rangers to look.

Ianis Hagi makes decision on Rangers future

The mercurial playmaker enjoyed a successful European Championships and is back in training ahead of a possible return to action for Rangers.

His quality is being missed though as seen by the multiple chances that were spurned against Man Utd at Murrayfield.

Clement has only been asked about Hagi once, when there was a chance of his Deportivo Alaves loan spell being cut short:

“There are things that I share only in discussions with the player, not with the press. Excuse me, but it’s not my style to talk in public about transfers, rumours and other collateral matters.

“I understand your curiosity, but these are details we only discuss inside the club. I don’t like to debate point issues when it comes to my players. We will see what happens, because this is not just a decision of mine, but also of the club.”

The last sentence gives quite a lot away.

It might not be down to the manager whether or not Hagi returns to the squad.

If a suitable bid comes in, then Hagi will be allowed to leave.

One thing that won’t be happening is another loan spell.

Hagi wants a permanent move or to stay at Rangers

According to Spot Media, Hagi is happy to play for Rangers given that he has two years left on his current deal, however, the 25-year old won’t be going on loan again.
