Tyrese Campbell still on Rangers agenda as EFL clubs hold talks with out of contract striker
Tyrese Campbell is reportedly still on Rangers’ radar – with several clubs down south now holding talks with the striker.
Campbell, son of the late Arsenal and Everton hero Kevin, has been without a club since being released by Stoke City earlier this summer. The former England U20 international has previously been linked with Philippe Clement’s Gers and turned down both Rangers and Celtic in order to remain at Stoke back in January 2020.
But according to a fresh report, the forward – who netted 36 times in 164 matches for the Potteries is still of interest to the Ibrox giants. The report also claims that English Championship quartet Swansea, West Brom, Cardiff and Sheffield United also retain an interest in Campbell. Belgian boss Clement has already bolstered his attacking options with the signing of Moroccan forward Hamza Igamane, but is in the market for another attacker after selling Sam Lammers to FC Twente.
