Norwich keeper Angus Gunn charged with misconduct by FA

Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn has been charged with misconduct by the FA after an alleged incident during their Championship match at QPR on 7 December.

The Scotland international “allegedly acted in an improper manner around the tunnel area at half-time” of the game which Norwich lost 3-0.

Gunn has until Thursday, 19 December to respond to the charge with captain Kenny McLean already serving a four match suspension for violent conduct during the same game at Loftus Road.

The 28-year-old, the son of former Norwich goalkeeper and manager Bryan Gunn, missed six games earlier this season because of a rib injury and could face a ban if found guilty.

Norwich are without a win in their past three Championship matches and have slipped eight points behind the play-offs spots before their game at fourth-placed Sunderland on Saturday.
