The talented youngster has been in fine form this season and now four clubs are willing to give him his first taste of men’s football.
According to Football Insider, Notts County, Harrogate, Doncaster and Morecambe are all vying for Gardner’s signature in January.
The 19-year-old has been in fine form this season, scoring five times and claiming two assists from 12 matches and recently bagged a hat-trick against Everton.
Gardner has had a taste of men’s football playing in the EFL Trophy over the last two seasons and could now be close to getting to experience that on a more frequent basis.
What Nuno Espirito Santo said about Joe Gardner
The talented forward player made his first-team debut at the start of 2024, featuring in an FA Cup replay in January against Bristol City.
He did alright during that game and afterwards, he received some praise from Espirito Santo.
The Forest head coach said on Gardner: “He was so happy! Now he is going to realise what happened to him because it was tough when we put him on the pitch. He is a young boy working with us.
