BREAKING NEWS;Everton finally announces the return of Amadou Onana few minutes ago..

Everton have recently secured their third and fourth signings of this summer’s transfer window over the last week.

Sean Dyche has enjoyed an impressive start to Everton‘s transfer window this summer with some key areas addressed already.

Jesper Lindstrom and Jake O’Brien have marked the latest recruits on Merseyside but they may not be the final additions with weeks still remaining in the window.

The Premier League season opener may now just be around the corner, but there is still plenty of time for Everton to explore the market.

And it seems as if midfield could well be an area which the Blues are looking to strengthen over the coming weeks.

Although Everton have enjoyed themselves in the market, so far, there may well be some concerns as to how many more players they could bring in.

The Friedkin Group’s takeover recently fell through which will, naturally, leave a strain on resources for the remaining weeks of the window.

Everton could always look to offload some players to create some revenue to invest back into their squad.

But Dyche will likely be wary given Everton have already sold Amadou Onana to Aston Villa just last month.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Everton are looking at Arthur Melo and Richard Rios as their two main midfield targets for the remainder of the window.

“Palmeiras stipulates about €15m (£12m) to negotiate for him. There are two English clubs at least above Richard Rios, Leicester and Everton. Everton also has an interest in Arthur Melo, former Gremio, former Juventus. He is leaning on Juventus with Thiago Motta now,” said journalist Bruno Andrade.
