Breaking News:Rangers boss Clement will not want to watch back Todd Cantwell celebration today…

Philippe Clement will not want to watch back Todd Cantwell’s goal celebration for Blackburn against Leeds United on Saturday for reasons Rangers fans are well aware of.

Cantwell has hit the ground running at Ewood Park after forcing his way of Govan in the summer and netted his first goal, via a penalty, for the Rovers’ in their 1-0 win against Leeds on 30 November.

The 26-year-old celebrated his goal with a dance similar to the one he pulled off after finding the back of the net in the Gers’ 2-1 win against Sparta Prague in the UEFA Europa League last November.

Early goals from Cantwell and Danilo put Rangers on course for a win that day, but their celebrations after both goals notably irked Clement.

It appears Cantwell has not learnt from the incident as he celebrated in a similar fashion after putting Blackburn in front just 22 minutes into the game, although the hosts went on to claim the win like Rangers did last year.

One can only wonder what Clement would say if he saw the midfielder’s actions at Ewood Park.
