Breaking News:Rangers defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo news emerges post injury setback…
Rangers defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo will be out for months rather than weeks with a knee injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it could be an ACL rupture but there appears to be very little clarity surrounding it.
Philippe Clement did say that the 22-year-old would be out for the long-term and would have a clearer idea on the timescale once he’s consulted the surgeon.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “It could be an ACL but the club will know more after the appointment with the surgeon who either will further review images, take more images and/or scope the knee to get a direct view of the knee and determine what is damaged.
“Longer term does mean months rather than weeks so this is a serious one.
“Whether or not he returns again this season would be on the severity of the injury which is still unknown.“
Rangers fans face an anxious wait over Neraysho Kasanwirjo
Usually, if it is an ACL injury, clubs issue statements that it’s a season ender for the player.
However, thus far, there is nothing yet from Gers, so it remains to be seen how serious the setback is.
Fans will be hoping to have him back as soon as possible as despite being a loan player, he’s already showcased his quality with the first team.
In other Rangers news, Nils Koppen expected to talk to Aberdeen player on 1 January over a move to Ibrox.
