END OF AN ERA:Steve Cooper signs his resignation letter and set to leave Leicester City due to…
Leicester City are about to embark on a new era under Ruud van Nistelrooy’s stewardship.
Just days removed from Steve Cooper’s sacking, Leicester are now on the verge of appointing van Nistelrooy.
The former Manchester United interim has been sounded about by owner Khun Top, who has gained assurances that he will look to implement an attractive brand of football.
Khun Top is also believes van Nistelrooy will be able to form a strong bond with the dressing room – which was something Cooper struggled to achieve.
Van Nistelrooy won’t be on the touchline this weekend but he’ll likely be in the stands watching on against Brentford.
That’ll give him time to assess the group and where he may need to strengthen in the January transfer window.
With that said, it’s become obvious who van Nistelrooy’s first signing should be.
Leicester should make Evan Ferguson Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first signing
Leicester are in desperate need of depth up front as it’s only really Jamie Vardy who’s capable of scoring the goals.
