Shocking News:Leicester City open new manager talks, deal done in days – sources…
Leicester City have opened new manager talks and are hopeful the new man will be in place for Saturday’s (30 November) clash against Brentford, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed negotiations are underway with the Foxes’ top targets following the sacking of Steve Cooper on Sunday (24 November).
Football Insider revealed on Monday (25 November) that Graham Potter, David Moyes and Ruud van Nistelrooy are all on the managerial shortlist at the King Power Stadium.
All three men are out of work at present which will streamline the process as Leicester look to appoint a new boss in a timely fashion.
It is believed that Van Nistelrooy is the new favourite for the role after talks with Leicester in the last hours.
Sources say Foxes chiefs want a new boss in place for the Brentford clash with a home fixture against West Ham following shortly after (3 December) to kick off the busy festive period.
It is believed player unrest was a key factor in the dismissal of Cooper after just 12 league games.
