Sky confirmed:Rangers have been suspended from JANUARY transfer ticket with 100 court charges…see more…
Andy Goldstein has been left shocked after learning that Rangers are nine points adrift of the top of the Scottish Premiership table this season.
Philippe Clement’s side have fallen nine points behind Celtic and Aberdeen, form which sees them just three points above fourth-place Dundee United while the title race heats up above them.
The manager is already under plenty of pressure from the Ibrox faithful, with supporters feeling the situation is absolutely unacceptable, and some are clearly baffled by the gap in the table.
Speaking live via talkSPORT [22 November, 6:39pm], Goldstein said: “Rangers are nine points behind Celtic and Aberdeen? That’s unbelievable.”
Can Rangers reduce the nine-point deficit to Celtic and Aberdeen?
It will certainly take a lot of work, and possibly heavy investment before the January transfer window, if the Gers are to climb up the Scottish Premiership table and back into contention for the title.
The Light Blues’ form has been absolutely horrendous this term, with Clement’s side also having to deal with being kicked out of Champions League qualifying as well as the poor league standing.
Celtic are rarely a team to slip up, having claimed the Scottish Premiership title ten times in the last 11 seasons, with Steven Gerrard leading the Gers to the trophy in 2020/21.
If the Gers are to have some success this season unless it is via the Europa League, they will need to have their fingers crossed that their Old Firm rivals mess up in some capacity
