BREAKING NEWS:Sunderland Vs Millwall fc kick-off time has been reschedule….

Sunderland travel to inform Millwall this weekend looking to end a run of three straight draws as Championship football returns.

Sunderland have hit a stumbling block in their push for promotion with three straight draws, though they remain unbeaten in eight overall.

After back-to-back 0-0 draws away to QPR and Preston North End, the Black Cats threw a two-goal lead at home to Coventry City in the last game before the international break.

Wilson Isidor continued his fine start to the season with another stunning goal in that game, his fifth goal since joining in the summer. Dennis Cirkin chipped in with a great strike of his own but their best efforts were not enough to secure all three points.

Millwall will offer a stern test to Sunderland this weekend. They are unbeaten in seven games and have only conceded one goal in their last five games.

Sunderland team news

Sunderland are set to be without five key players for the trip to Millwall. Regis Le Bris shared the latest on his squad before the game, as relayed by the official club website.

Alan Browne and Romaine Mundle will be sidelined for six to eight weeks following injuries sustained in the draw with Coventry City. Browne fractured a leg bone, while Mundle suffered a significant hamstring injury, compounding manager Le Bris’ selection challenges ahead of the Millwall clash.
