BREAKING NEWS:FIFA suspends Nottingham Forest from January transfer offer due to…

Nottingham Forest won’t be expected to conduct much business in the January transfer window, but there is one name that has been popping up in rumours.

Nuno Espirito Santo doesn’t have an awful lot to worry about at Nottingham Forest right now, despite the disappointing result against Newcastle last time out.

A goalkeeper won’t be on the radar in January, though it has been claimed that Forest could even look to sign an upgrade on Matz Sels in the summer.

One other position that could possibly do with some reinforcements is at striker. Chris Wood has carried the load himself this season, and Taiwo Awoniyi has had his issues, so an injury could cause trouble.

Interestingly, a striker has come out and shared his dream of playing in the Premier League ahead of the January transfer window, and Nottingham Forest happen to have an interest in him.

Yuri Alberto admits he wants to play in the Premier League

Nottingham Forest have been chasing Yuri Alberto ahead of the January transfer window.

The Brazilian striker currently plays for Murillo’s former club Corinthians and has scored 27 goals in 54 games in all competitions this season.

Interestingly, he may just have opened the door for Nottingham Forest to make a move for him in January, as he revealed his dream of playing in the Premier League.

Speaking to Esporte na Band, he said this.

“I have a big dream of playing in Europe. I stayed at Zenit and ended up coming back because I couldn’t compete in European tournaments due to the war. I am very happy here at Corinthians but, if an opportunity arises that benefits both Corinthians and myself, I am open to [leaving].

“My priority is England. I really like it there.”
