West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek is someone who deserves so much more credit than he gets in my opinion.
Tomas Soucek joined West Ham initially on loan in January 2020, before his move to the London Stadium was made permanent just five months later.
Soucek was actually linked with an exit from the London Stadium in the summer, but he has since proven to be undroppable with his all-action displays.
We all know that Soucek isn’t the best footballer technically, nor is the midfielder aesthetically pleasing to watch.
However, what he lacks regarding technique, he more than makes up for with heart, teamwork and spirit.
Pound for pound, the former Slavia Prague man has been one of our very best signings over the past decade.
And I really feel like he needs to start being recognised more for the effort he gives, week in week out.
