HEARTBROKEN :Dujon Sterling suspension is a BIG RED FLAG for Rangers….

Alan Hutton has suggested Philippe Clement’s recent suggestion Dujon Sterling wasn’t fit enough to start for Rangers was a “big red flag”.

The versatile Englishman has been a bit part player under Clement this season, only starting two Premiership matches so far this term despite putting pen to paper on a new contract earlier in the campaign.

Sterling hasn’t started a game since the Gers’ Old Firm defeat to Celtic earlier this season and Premier Sports pundit Hutton admits he was concerned when Clement said he wasn’t ready to start against Malmo in the Europa League.

Speaking on The Scottish Football Social Club (28 October) he said: “Sterling for me is an interesting one.

“I think it was the Malmo game when he didn’t play him and he played [Neraysho] Kasanwirjo at left-back. He said he

“What do you mean? Is he not trying hard enough? Did he have a knock? He’s being used sparingly now.”

What has happened to Rangers ace Dujon Sterling at Ibrox?

Question marks have been looming around Sterling’s fitness throughout the season so far at Ibrox, with a rumour circulating earlier in the campaign that the Englishman had picked up a long-term knock that was later proved to be inaccurate.

But Clement’s comments throughout the campaign have only raised suspicion further. Why would Sterling not be fit enough to start that Malmo game? Why has he not started a Premiership game for almost two months?
