Steve Cooper admits he has big problem ahead of Nottingham Forest he will immediately ‘review’

Nottingham Forest are set to face Leicester City up next in the Premier League, with Steve Cooper to come up against his old club.

Nuno Espirito Santo has made memories of Steve Cooper a thing of the past with his new ideas and fresh approach to football at Nottingham Forest.

The Reds have the second best defence in the Premier League having conceded just six goals, which has helped catapult them into eighth position.

Leicester are enjoying a decent start to the season of their own, despite many fans tipping them for relegation before it all kicked off.

A late 3-2 win last time out showed the fight and resilience the Foxes have under Cooper, so it won’t be a walk in the park for Forest who travel to the King Power Stadium.

Interestingly, Cooper has already highlighted a big problem he needs to address before the Nottingham Forest game in his post-match press conference.

Chris Wood is the name Leicester will be tasked with stopping after his fantastic start to the season, with five goals in eight Premier League games.

Tim Sherwood was hugely impressed with Wood’s display against Crystal Palace last time out, describing him as ‘incredible’ for his winning goal.

It wasn’t smooth sailing for Leicester who had to come from behind against Southampton, which sparked a reaction from Cooper after the game.

Speaking on the Leicester City YouTube channel, he said this.

“I don’t want to be too negative but I’ve got to look at the first half as well, you know um, and we need to review that quickly. You know tonight, tomorrow.

“So we’ll get back in with the players at Seagrave and do that. But then yeah moving forward it doesn’t matter who we play next, it’s just about continuing our work, continuing the Journey that we want to go on.”
