Everton fc announced a new ownership finally…

It has been a tiring and arduous process, but at last Everton’s takeover troubles seem destined to come to an end.

That is, should Dan Friedkin iron out the final details of his deal with Farhad Moshiri, after months of on-again off-again negotiations.

All this fanbase wants is a little stability and some hope that a bright future might be in store, and should this American billionaire take over, that seems guaranteed.

Especially after he led AS Roma, his first footballing acquisition, to their first European trophy in over 60 years.

With Evertonians praying that such success could soon befall them, many are scrambling to learn more about when the takeover might be complete.

Will Dan Friedkin’s Everton takeover be completed soon?

Naturally, Alan Myers marked the first port of all for many seeking any information about Everton.

After all, the Sky Sports reporter seems to boast plenty of knowledge on the club he has always supported, almost always first with a scoop.

On this particular occasion, there was no big story to break, but rather a simple update requested by a concerned fan.

They wrote: ‘Any updates on the takeover Al please?…. Still moving ahead and getting closer’.

Myers’ reply was a simple one, but full of positive inference: ‘All good as far as I know.’

An approximate completion date for Everton’s takeover was revealed earlier this month, and by all accounts the Toffees are on course for a successful and smooth change of ownership.

What do Everton need to do in January?

Should Everton be in a position of relative safety, January might actually mark a quiet month for the Toffees.

After all, even with Friedkin in place, he will not want to spend simply for the sake of spending money.

Especially if he sees no future with Sean Dyche as Everton manager and Kevin Thelwell by his side.

Both of their contracts are due to expire this summer, and it is expected that the new owner will want to bring in some of his own people to progress the club forward.
