The ‘Bye’ week is giving UW’s younger players an opportunity to impress as UW tries to make it to a bowl game. Many of the veteran players will be limited in practices this week to help them get healthy. Fisch said that Zach Durfee is expected to return after the ‘Bye’ week.

Next year’s Apple Cup is set for Sept. 20 in Pullman. UW is scheduled to play Colorado State on Aug. 30 and UC Davis on Sep. 6.
