I WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN :Luton Town best player has decided to quit his job due to…

Luton Town had a steady approach to the summer transfer window as six new faces joined their ranks this term.

Luton Town have had a disappointing start since returning to the Championship in truth, currently sat 21st in the table after their opening nine fixtures.

The Hatters made a handful of shrewd additions before the window came to a close, also opting to bring in free agent Victor Moses once the deadline had passed.

Mark McGuiness joined from Cardiff City as the marquee signing, whilst Lamine Fanne was also brought in for a healthy sum prior to rejoining Allsvenskan outfit AIK on loan for the campaign.

As an instant return to the Premier League remains their objective despite a poor start, Rob Edwards is bound to be on the lookout for potential improvements to his squad.

Here, we put forward three players out of contract next summer who Luton Town should have their eyes on…

Harry Toffolo

No longer a regular for Nottingham Forest, the Hatters might be wise to assess the availability of 29-year-old left-back Toffolo.

Since signing for the East Midlands outfit following their promotion to the Premier League in 2022, the defender has made 51 appearances in all competitions during which he has registered one goal and four assists.

Formerly a strong competitor in the Championship for Huddersfield Town, the former England U20 international had made just one cameo appearance for the Reds this campaign and may be tempted to drop down a league in search of minutes.

Pontus Dahbo

Just as Luton Town dipped into the Swedish market for the signing of Fanne, doing the same for Hacken attacking midfielder Dahbo might be a smart move.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a steady campaign in the Allsvenskan having made 22 appearances in what has been somewhat of a breakout season so far for the youngster. With his deal expiring next December as opposed to next summer, however, it might not yet be a bargain deal.
