Chelsea star Cole Palmer picks current ‘best player in the world’ between Vincius Jr and Kylian Mbappe

Chelsea’s attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer has picked French superstar Kylian Mbappe ahead of Real Madrid legend Vinicius as the current best player in the footballing world. This was made known to the public in an interview by Goal, where Palmer was asked to pick his current best player

In the footballing world there have been an interesting debate as to who the current best player is. Thus, Palmer was quoted saying:

“I’d go Vinicius Jr or Mbappé. Let me say Mbappé.”

When we try to acess both players in the footballing world right now, it can be stated that Vinicius and Mbappe have been decent in recent years.

Vinicius has been a key player in Real Madrid‘s attack in recent years, winning multiple trophies, including the UEFA Champions League trophy. However, there have been concerns as regards his presence in the Brazilian national team.

This is based on the idea that he’s yet to sufficiently prove himself in his national team as he’s yet to win a major trophy with the Brazilian senior team.

On the other hand, Mbappe has been a significant player in the French national team squad as he was one of the brains behind France’s 2018 World Cup win.

Similarly, Mbappe played a pivotal role in helping France to reach the 2022 World Cup final as he also netted two crucial goals in France’s loss against Argentina in the final.
