Breaking News:Philippe Clement confirms Rangers have been rocked by injury to another key player
Philippe Clement can never seem to catch when it comes to injury problems at Rangers.
The Belgian manager walked into an Ibrox medical room in disarray and has set about reversing the endemic problems which have stretched the Rangers squad for the best part of three years.
But as the club takes two steps forward in this department, they’re routinely being pegged back with Rangers still suffering from a number of consistent injury problems from the same old faces.
And now another issue has rocked the Rangers squad, as Philippe Clement confirms a key player from this season misses the clash with St Johnstone due to injury.

Tom Lawrence picks up injury
Speaking ahead of the Scottish Premiership visit of St Johnstone, Philippe Clement revealed that Tom Lawrence has picked up another injury.
The Rangers attacking midfielder, 30, has spent the best part of the last two years sidelined with injury problems and the news will be met with nerves by Ibrox fans.
Tom Lawrence was beginning to find some form at Rangers after a challenging few seasons battling against serious injury issues.
But with Nedim Bajrami preferred at number ten against the Saints, Clement does say that the injury is ‘small’ and that the club didn’t want to risk Lawrence, presumably due to previous issues.
Clement also explained that Connor Barron was rested in the place of Nicolas Raskin in the clash with St Johnstone.

“Tom Lawrence has a small injury,” Clement told RangersTV ahead of the game.
“Nothing big, but too risky to let him play minutes.
“Connor Barron has been playing a lot of minutes the last weeks, the last months, so we need to see also that we don’t burn him alive.”
Rangers wait players to make injury returns
Heading into the international break, Rangers will be hoping that Tom Lawrence returns to the squad in a fortnight’s time.
The Gers will also be hoping a number of players can catch up with their fitness ahead of that trip to play Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers have been without Brazilian striker Danilo and Welsh winger Rabbi Matondo for the last few weeks with the initial prognosis on both players a return in time for Rugby Park.
