Nicolas Jackson to SLAP Morato in shocking footage as Chelsea striker runs risk of ban after wading into mass brawl that overshadowed Nottingham Forest draw

Shocking footage from Chelsea’s clash with Nottingham Forest appears to show Nicolas Jackson slapping defender Morato in a mass brawl.

Chelsea and Forest played out a tetchy 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, which saw 11 yellow cards issued. James Ward-Prowse was also sent off after collecting two yellows, and footage shared online has now appeared to show Jackson aiming a slap at Morato as both sets of players were involved in a melee.

Chelsea and Forest will both be issued fines for failing to adequately control their players, and there is also the potential of Jackson being hit with a retrospective ban for violent conduct. He had been substituted at the point of the melee, which was sparked by a late trip from Neco Williams.

Jackson has scored four goals in eight games in all competitions this season, but struggled to gain a clear sight of goal against Forest as the Blues were held. They now sit fourth in the table and have only lost once all campaign.

Chelsea face Liverpool after the international break but will have to do so without Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana, who are both suspended after picking up yellow cards in the Forest draw.
Both Fofana and Cucurella have started every Chelsea game this season. The former has been booked in all of the Blues’ last five games, while Cucurella was carded in all of the last four, as well as the second game of the season against Wolves.

Chelsea have plenty of options to replace Fofana and Cucurella but their absence is likely to make the clash with Liverpool all the more difficult. With them in the side, the Blues have only lost once this season and have conceded just eight goals in seven games.
